Corporate Transportation Service
Karachi, despite being a vibrant metropolis and the economic heartbeat of Pakistan, has long struggled with the absence of a reliable and well-structured public transportation system. For decades, daily commuters endured congested roads, unsafe travel conditions, and limited transport options. However, this year marked a transformative turning point for the city’s mobility landscape.
In collaboration with the Government of Pakistan, Khan Transport Service (KTS) has proudly taken the role of transportation partner in launching the People’s Bus Service across three major cities of Sindh—Karachi, Hyderabad, and Larkana. This groundbreaking initiative has set a new benchmark for public transport in the province.
For the people of Karachi, the People’s Bus Service is more than just a transport system—it is a lifeline. In the face of rising fuel costs, it offers a sustainable, affordable, and dependable alternative. Passengers enjoy air-conditioned comfort, modern safety features, and a secure, reliable commuting experience at fares starting from PKR 80 up to 15 KMs and PKR 120 per person per ride for longer distances. Special provisions have been made for ladies and passengers with special needs, ensuring inclusivity and dignity for all.
So far, 340 state-of-the-art buses have been inducted into the fleet, with six major routes already operational and more in the pipeline. Each route is strategically designed to connect key residential, commercial, and industrial zones.
KTS’s role extends beyond simply providing vehicles. We handle comprehensive fleet management, deploy highly trained and experienced drivers, and offer route optimization guidance to ensure efficiency and punctuality. Our focus is on maximizing service reliability, reducing commute times, and making public transportation a truly viable choice for citizens.
Through the People’s Bus Service, KTS is not just improving transportation—we are enhancing quality of life, supporting economic activity, and shaping a more connected future for Sindh — Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, and Larkana.
